Brief:
In this project, the Academy aims to build a standardized test to measure the competencies of the Arabic language for non-native speakers, so that the test measures the four skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking), according to international practices, and in accordance with the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The Academy also aims to legislate the test, market it, and build agreements locally and globally to adopt its results in admission to academic programs, employment, and the like. In addition, the specialists will conduct scientific research on the test, and benefit from the results of those research in developing future models for the test, to ensure its sustainability, and to provide it in accordance with the highest standards in this field.
Objective:
Develop a standardized global Arabic language test that effectively assesses learners’ competency and provides valuable inputs to learners/end users.
