KSGAAL Holds a Panel discussion on the Arabic Language Index

King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language (KSGAAL) is organizing a panel discussion on February 27, 2024. Titled 'Arabic Language Index: Concept, Challenges, and Achievements of 2023’, the event brings together language experts and representatives from relevant authorities. This initiative aligns with KSGAAL's efforts to preserve and empower the Arabic language, aiming to disseminate linguistic knowledge and achieve the goals of the Human Capability Development Program, one of Saudi Vision 2030’s programs.

The panel discussion will address the launch of the Arabic Language Index worldwide, highlighting its objectives and charting its journey from inception to release. Additionally, the panel will conduct a detailed comparative analysis between the Arabic Language Index and other language indices.

KSGAAL aims to establish the Arabic Language Index as a robust assessment tool utilizing both qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate the global standing of the Arabic language and publish periodic reports. The index will offer analytical insights into key linguistic issues across various domains, such as education, communication, publications, language economics, and technology, aspiring to enhance the status of the Arabic language regionally and globally.

KSGAAL’s Arabic Language Index is a credible resource for researchers, language experts, and anyone interested in the Arabic language and its role in various vital aspects of life.  This comprehensive index lays the groundwork for policymakers, investors, and decision-makers to develop effective language policies, both domestically and internationally, and ultimately implement them to enhance investment opportunities and boost the knowledge economy. Through its diverse linguistic initiatives and programs, KSGAAL seeks to preserve the status and linguistic identity of the Arabic language, support its spoken and written word, and spread its use globally.
