Arabic Language Month:
A series of intensive scientific programs and activities held over four weeks, in collaboration with organizations dedicated to Arabic language education in various countries. The event aims to introduce the academy, highlight global efforts to serve the Arabic language and its sciences, and address the knowledge and professional needs of the target groups in the field of Arabic. It focuses on raising awareness of contemporary Arabic language issues and enhancing the professional competencies of teachers.
Scientific Activities Accompanying the Programs:
• Discussion Panels:
A series of scientific meetings bringing together specialists and researchers in Arabic language education to discuss various educational issues related to the development of Arabic language curricula, the performance of its teachers, and strengthening its presence in international linguistic organizations and institutions.
• Scientific Seminars:
These seminars aim to introduce Saudi Arabia’s efforts in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers and shed light on the key challenges and opportunities facing Arabic language education in various countries. The seminars feature a select group of experts and researchers discussing the relevant topics.
• Linguistic Competitions:
A competition held alongside the scientific program, focusing on three areas: public speaking, storytelling, and Arabic calligraphy. This aims to introduce participants to the academy’s publications and discover talents related to the arts and sciences of the Arabic language.
• Training Courses:
o For Teachers: Training courses for Arabic language teachers of non-native speakers to enhance their skills in teaching Arabic, spreading the language, and equipping them with the latest techniques and methods in the field of Arabic language education.
o For Learners: Training courses for Arabic learners to effectively improve their linguistic and cultural skills, contributing to achieving their academic goals.
