Locally:
The Academy proceeded to establish a guiding language policy for official institutions, including an executive framework for language policy and language editing. Work is also underway on a project to support language prestige planning in cooperation with various ministries, in addition to working on reviewing Saudi language-related regulations and policies in various ministries and agencies and proposing amendments.
 

Internationally:
In the regional context, the Academy began communicating with the relevant authorities to activate joint work programs and substantial initiatives with the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science and the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture.
