The sector focuses on the field of Arabic language education, including the development, publication, and training of Arabic teachers, while also innovating modern methods to achieve these goals. It seeks to build bridges and establish connections between linguistic institutions worldwide. The sector works on offering new and innovative educational products, applications, and tools, in addition to launching various projects that serve both native Arabic speakers and those wishing to learn Arabic as a foreign language.
The sector works in the field of teaching Arabic language and is designed to provide added value to the current educational programs, where this sector works to provide new and innovative products, applications and educational tools that are capable of filling the shortage or drawing attention to areas of improvement and pushes this field into new horizons and linking this sector to the linguistic organizations globally. The work of this sector encompasses Arabic speakers and those who wish to learn it.
Areas of Work:
The sector provides addedvalue to existing academic educational programs and aims to develop curricula, prepare educational programs, educational tools, and digital platforms that facilitate the acquisition and learning of Arabic language. It also seeks to establish centers dedicated to teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, both within Saudi Arabia and internationally. Additionally, the sector works on creating the Arabic Language Proficiency Test (Hamza) and implementing it in person and online (remotely) locally and globally.
The sector has various programs, most notably:
- Establishment of a Laboratory to Innovate Modern Teaching Tools in the Field of Arabic Language
- Building and Implementing Language Proficiency Tests
- Establishing International Centers for Teaching Arabic and Spreading Saudi and Arab Culture
Objectives of Educational Programs:
- Enhance the proficiency level of learning and teaching Arabic language, both locally and globally.
